Get Human Source Code for Your Site

You can go to CODEShack, get the code snippet(s) and paste it right into your page's HTML. Suppose you want to spread the word? Now you can get directly involved. The first set of code is up now, which takes people right to the 'participate' global cognitive map where they take several tests, or play games.

When they put the code on their site, blog, or bulletin board - they also get paid based on ad clicks. It's advertising with a redeeming social cause. The more people sign up, the better it gets for all of us. We don't care of you just started a blog or if you have a major web property - you can help people just the same.

Microsoft backs WCG

This is interesting.....

Microsoft Hooks World Cyber Games
By Laurie Sullivan, TechWeb News

Microsoft Corp. has signed on to sponsor the World Cyber Games competition through 2008, the WCG gaming commission said Thursday.

World Cyber Games provides a global tournament within cyberspace gamers calls "e-sports." The deal gives Microsoft a grip on games featured in the tournament. Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360 will become the exclusive platforms for the world's largest videogame tournament that draws more than a million competitors worldwide each year. Competitors vie for millions in prizes. Games include Dead or Alive 4 and Project Gotham Racing 3.

South Korea will hold the preliminary games this month with Xbox Live online gaming competitions and real-world elimination rounds.

Monza, Italy, will host this year's final event from Oct. 18-22. Seattle, Wash., will hold the 2007 World Cyber Games Grand Final.

GameSpot Brain Training

GameSpot Reviews Brain Age from Dr. Ryutu Kawashima. The reviewer reports that after seven days, he is improving in some areas but not in others. As you may have heard, this Nintendo DS title is excelling in Japan and will hit the U.S. market in later April. Clearly, there will be a huge increase in global demand for cognitive games and exercises - those with credited studies behind them and academic support will offer the most long-term value. Kawashima has adopted the idea of cognitive cross training - working the mind with different kind of exercises.

I guess they are hoping that this will create a new market for Nintendo DS ( on top of Nintendogs ). For ease of accesibility, casual games anywhere should be the philosophy.
